THE NEW DS IS HERE!!! Is that good or bad?

The new DS should becoming around April.  Yeah, I know.  OOOH, a DS, now I can play Pokemon.:(.  But wait.  The new DS, called the DSi, has larger screens, is skinnier, 1 being a touch screen, internet acces by wifi, music and picture storage, and the new thing with handhelds.  2 cameras!  This is awesome!  It is also only $170, and should be coming out sometime this April to US STORES!!!  Do you think it is worth getting?  Would it be best to sell the original DS to get more money for the new one?  Can the cameras change the whole idea of handheld gaming?  Picture is above.

Guitar Hero has and IQ of ... -23425432

Guitar Hero, one of the most popular music video games, has made a very embarrasing error.  The video games cover has a spelling error.  On the front of Guitar Hero Metallica, there are several famous band names in the background.  The band Lynyrd Skynyrd is one of the lucky bands, but were very unlucky to have their name mispelled as Lynyrd Skynrd.  There is a picture above.  This was found at Yahoo, FYI.

I'm not going to put on a title because my titles are dumb

Darwinism Is Tricky!

The Vatican has now accepted the Theory of Darwin.  They said it is compatible with Christianity!
This is Horrible!  This is really bad!  This stinks!  For more information go to Wayodd.com!  I warn you some ads are inappropriate!  Actually, (this is later), I think it was just an arch-bishop that said it was okay!  But still!  Bad!  Yeah!  I should probably stop this soon!  So...!  Yeah!  Bye!

Wildfires

You've heard of the wildfires in Australlia, right?  They killed millions of animals, but apparently, one animal becomes extremely famous for being rescues?  How does that work, it makes no sense!  "Sam" the koala became famous for drinking from a water bottle, I do not understand how that makes someone famous.

Hit and Drag

A man got hit by a car and was dragged underneath it for 17 miles before the driver realized there was someone underneath.  The body is now unidentifiable.  He may have been killed by the hit, I hope he was, that would hurt so bad.

First Woman to Swim the Atlantic?

Jennifer Figge recently became the first woman to swim the Atlantic, right?  Wrong!  It's not true.  First of all, not even the trip was across the whole Atlantic.  Plus, it says she swam 2,100 miles in 25 days.  This is proved to be impossible.  Michael Phelps would take 20 days to swim that long at his fastest pace swimming all of it without stopping.  The story says she rested on the ship, and she could defenitly not hold that pace even if she did swim that fast.  There was also a correction later that said she only swam a fraction of it, and her total distance has not yet been calculated.  Though they did correct it evantually, Figge didn't seem to eager to correct them.

Sweet Hotels

A hotel makes rooms in the trees, and they are nealy invisible!  They aren't the greatest, but they are still pretty cool.

Get Out of Jail Free

Several judges in California must release 55,000 cons to get rid of prison crowdedness.  That would be a hard desicion, but do you think it will change the cons, or not?

The meaning of life...

I believe everyone has 1 top priority (besides religion, partriotism, etc...) in their life, the main aspect of it.  For me, it would have to be running.  I love long-distance running because you can enjoy nature, take out anger, and be by yourself or be social with a group of runnings.  What is your meaning of life?

(I felt like posting something, this is what came to mind)

Video Bar

The top video bar is HILARIOUS!!! Watch it!!

Julius Caesar and Star Wars

I was reading the Julius Caesar Shakespeare play the other day, this is strange, because I do not commonly read Shakespeare, but I was in a dramatic mood, which I am also usually not in. I realized with my strange mind that the play has a story line quite similar to that of Star Wars. Here are the similarities, some are not very accurate, however.

Julius Caesar- Obi-Wan Kenobi, Kenobi trained Anakin Skywalker, who later was the death of him, Julius Caesar “trained” Brutus, who later was the death of him. Kenobi sometimes ignored warnings from Yoda about Anakin being dangerous, Julius Caesar ignored the soothsayer about the ides of March. Kenobi was one of the highest ranked Jedi; Julius Caesar was the highest ranked in Rome.

Octavius- Luke Skywalker, Skywalker “took place” of Obi-Wan Kenobi after he died, Octavius “took place” of Julius Caesar when he died. Skywalker “started things over”, just like Octavius had to start things over.

The Soothsayer- Yoda, Yoda warned Obi-Wan Kenobi that Anakin was very dangerous, however, Obi Wan ignored him.

The Cobbler- Watto, Watto was a tradesman who was put in his place by Jedi, just like the cobbler, who was put in his place by high ranking people.

Brutus- Anakin Skywalker, brought up by Kenobi, like Brutus being a helper of Caesar, betraying Kenobi, like Brutus betraying Caesar, becomes a leader among the enemies, like Brutus becoming a leader among the conspirators, and he was the most powerful dark lord, but not the highest ranked, like Brutus being the most powerful conspirator, but not the highest ranked.

Calphurnia- Siri Tachi, Siri Tachi was the only girl Kenobi “liked”, like Calphurnia was Caesar’s wife, never had kids like Calphurnia, but because she was not married, not because she was barren.

Portia- Padme Amidala, Padme was married to Anakin like Portia was married to Brutus. They both were concerned about their husbands when they wouldn’t speak their minds. They were both also related to or were royalty.

Cinna the Poet- Luminara Unduli, Luminara was killed for being a Jedi like Cinna the Poet was killed for having the name Cinna.

Cassius- Palpatine tricked Anakin into joining the Dark Side just like Cassius tricked Brutus into joining the conspiracy. They were also both leaders of their rebellion. They both trick Anakin/Brutus by saying the Republic/Julius Caesar has grown to powerful.

Casca- Count Dooku, Count Dooku was one of Emperor Palpatine’s trusted men, like Casca was a trusted man of Cassius.

Lepidus, Darth Maul, although Darth Maul was a bad guy, he was extremely good at what he did. He was completely dedicated to Emperor Palpatine. Just like Lepidus being good at what he did and being devoted to Octavius. It would also be cool to see a martial arts master in a Roman battle.

Flavius and Marullus- Wald and Sebulba, Wald kind of picked on young Anakin Skywalker, like Marullus joining Flavius in ordering workers. Sebulba also picked on young Anakin while pod racing with him.

Antony- Princess Leia. Princess Leia supported rebelling against the empire 100%. She was also a notable fighter. I know she is a woman, but she was the only Star Wars character I could think of to fit. She is also good at speeches, just like Anton

I know some of them have many flaws, but I still think it is interesting how so many completely different stories are so similar. C.S. Lewis said he wasn't even thinking about the story of Christ's Crusifixtion when he wrote The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
